Richardson Brothers Foundation helps the Haven make a house a home

The Haven Wolverhampton, who support women and children vulnerable to domestic violence, abuse and homelessness, has received welcome support from the Richardson Brothers Foundation.
The Foundation’s trustees has donated to the Haven’s ‘make a house a home’ initiative. It’s a fund that provides everything women and children need when they are fleeing domestic abuse and leaving their homes with little or nothing.
Jan Jennings, on behalf of the Richardson Brothers Foundation, explained:
“The Haven does the most incredible work helping women and their children when they need it most. They provide safe, emergency accommodation in a compassionate environment. The Richardson Brothers Foundation is pleased to be able to give a donation that will go towards new bedding, kitchen equipment, toiletries and toys and anything else that’s needed to make a house a home.”
Stephanie Boswell from the Haven, added:
“We offer a range of services and activities to support women and children, including a 24/7 helpline, counselling and therapy, as well as safe accommodation for those that need it. It’s really important when women and children are moving into a different home they also have the essential items that will makes their lives more comfortable. This funding from the Richardson Brothers Foundation will make a real difference to some of our most vulnerable clients and we are very grateful.”
