Continuing our series of updates, we showcase some of the highlights that have taken place in recent weeks.

Planning or no planning?

Magnet Capital published an interesting blog following the publication of data from the Home Builders Federation showing that a staggering 93% of SME builders say that planning delays are their biggest barrier to growth.

The piece looks at some of the benefits of buying a site with and without planning, and the full piece can be found here.

Magic Dentist

Todays Dental were delighted to share their partnership with Magic Dentist, as launched alongside the Member of Parliament for Taunton and Wellington, Gideon Amos MP.

A staggering one in four children across the area do not visit the dentist, and tooth decay remains the leading reason for primary aged children going to hospital.

You can see more about the campaign here.

Entering Q4

Ahead of the fourth quarter, Coople shared some interesting insights on what is the most challenging time of the year for logistics teams. Please see the full post here.

DPD parcels hub in Northumberland

Richardson Barberry began construction work to deliver a new DPD distribution centre in the North East of England.

DPD signed a 25-year lease on the site near Newton Aycliffe and the site is expected to safeguard 125 jobs for County Durham and generate up to another 250 jobs as part of the new built-to-suit DPD building at Forrest Park.

Richardson JV partner Ask Real Estate acquires site in Manchester Business Park

Ask Real Estate purchased a 7.8 acre site in Manchester Business Park, within Manchester Airport's strategic employment site and the wider ecosystem of technology, manufacturing, distribution and digital businesses.

The plan for the site is to build nine prime last mile logistics units, ranging in size from 6,700 sq ft to 21,646 sq ft and will appeal to businesses including those in aviation, logistics and warehousing.
