Richardson support Business Awards

The Richardson family office was one of the key partners at the 2022 Express & Star Business Awards, which took place in front of nearly 400 people on Thursday evening at Wolverhampton Racecourse.

The awards celebrate the best of the business community in the Black Country and Staffordshire, with Richardson sponsoring the Business Person of the Year category.

After some tough judging, the CEO of Homeserve Furniture Repairs, James Lane, was announced as the winner of that category, in recognition of the great leadership and business acumen he has shown in building the business into a national leader in its sector.

The firm, which has recently expanded into larger premises on the Waterfront Business Park in Dudley, was also crowned as the overall Business of the Year.

Ahead of the awards night, Roy Richardson had been presented with the Express & Star's first ever Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of the significant contribution made by the Richardson family to the economic prosperity of the region over many years.

Wolverhampton-based Promise Dreams was the charity partner for the awards, raising funds to help seriously and terminally ill children and their families turn dreams into realities.
