Jonathan Smith, Chief Executive of the Alternative Parcels Company (APC) in Cannock, has won the Express & Star Business Person of the Year – sponsored by Richardson.

The APC is the UK’s largest independent parcel delivery network, with over 100 independent local delivery and collection specialists nationwide.
Jonathan has been at the helm of the APC for nine years, driving the business forward and heading up a workforce of over 700 people.
In the last year he has led a number of investments to support its operations, including new fleet, an enhanced customer and consumer experience, as well as restructuring the ownership of the APC with great success.
