The Richardson family are delighted to announce that Joycelyn Ong has joined RCL Associates Ltd, the retained advisors to the family, operating as RCL’s Investment Representative in Singapore.
Joycelyn joined RCL earlier in 2021, following a banking career spanning 25 years in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore, and having worked with the Richardson family for a number of years. She has held leadership positions in global capital markets and structuring, and most recently lead an advisory team in wealth management focused on entrepreneurs, their businesses and their family office needs.
The Richardson family are already involved in multiple investments around the Pacific Rim, including Baker & Cook, the Singapore based artisan bakery chain, and Valic, one of Australasia’s most recognised and trusted fruit brands.
Working with the wider RCL Investment team, Jocelyn will focus on seeking new opportunities for investment across the region.

Joycelyn’s appointment comes at a time when there is a significant focus on the UK’s trading relationship with countries across the Pacific Rim. The Department of International Trade have recently announced new Free Trade Agreements with Japan and Australia and has also formally applied to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), a free-trade agreement between 11 countries around the region.
