Foden’s Band is visiting St Regis CE Academy in Tettenhall on Saturday 20 June, in a concert hosted by the school’s PTA and sponsored by the Richardson Brothers Foundation.

Cheshire based Foden’s Band was founded over 120 years ago and has won multiple national and international championships, regularly topping the world rankings for brass bands.

Chris Green, Head of School at St Regis Academy, said:

“It’s a real coup to welcome Foden’s Band to our school.  They have a rich history of making wonderful music and are at the very top of their game, with a worldwide following.   We’re very grateful to the Richardson Brothers Foundation for sponsoring the concert and supporting the enrichment of pupils and the wider school community.”

Jan Jennings from the Richardson Brothers Foundation, added:

“The Richardson family has a long association with Foden’s Band having worked with them on a number of occasions over the years.  At the same time, St Regis Academy has a great reputation for nurturing the arts and for promoting creativity within the school and wider community environment.  So this is a great opportunity to support a very special concert that also aims to raise funds for the PTA.”

A limited number of tickets are available for purchase by the general public and these can be obtained directly from St Regis CE Academy.
