The Richardson family regularly hosts a forum for business leaders and national and local politicians at their West Midlands HQ, to look at promoting the wealth creation sector in the region.
Councillor Shaun Davies, who is Chair of the Local Government Association and the Labour leader of Telford & Wrekin Council, was guest speaker at the December Richardson business roundtable. He gave a presentation that covered the regional and national challenges facing councils across the country. In addition he discussed the opportunities that are available for local authorities and the private sector to work together more effectively to help drive local and national economic growth.
A range of senior business leaders from the region attend the monthly lunchtime event held at the Richardson office in Oldbury and chaired by Carl Richardson.
