Planning permission granted for student accommodation at The Waterfront, Brierley Hill

Dudley Council has given the Richardson family outline planning consent for student accommodation at The Waterfront in Brierley Hill.

The proposed building will be on a currently unused car park within The Waterfront complex close to the Merry Hill Centre and part of Dudley’s Enterprise Zone.

The accommodation is planned to support the new Music Institute, scheduled to open at the nearby Cable Plaza in 2020. The scale, appearance and layout of the accommodation will go back to the council’s development control committee at a later date.
