Project Description

Milburngate is a striking regeneration project which will comprise high quality restaurants, bars, boutique cinema, luxury apartments, contemporary offices and incredible views. Formerly the Passport Office, the site is ideally situated on the river with views over the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Durham City Centre. A resolution to grant planning consent was made in November 2016 and demolition is will soon be completed with construction of Phase 1 to commence in 2018 Phase 1 works encompass:


    • 55,000 sq ft (5,109.67 sq m) of retail and leisure space with pre-lets agreed with Everyman Cinemas and Pitcher & Piano
    • 49,500 sq ft (4,598.70) of office space
    • 149 luxury apartments
