Support for Manchester Pride Weekend

A busy summer of events on the Homeground pop-up venue in Manchester city centre drew to a close at the weekend with the live music extravaganza, MCR Pride Live.

The event, held on a site off First Street as part of the wider Manchester Pride Weekend celebrations , proved a smash hit with 10,000 revellers who packed the venue to watch stars including Zara Larsson, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Gabrielle perform.

The musical extravaganza followed a successful summer for HOME’s pop-up outdoor initiative that saw people able to come together safely and enjoy a range of arts and cultural events across the summer months.

Ask Real Estate, whose parent company is Richardson, own the land in central Manchester. While it is earmarked for future development as an extension of the popular First Street mixed use neighbourhood, the summer presented a great opportunity to use the site creatively, and the team at Ask were delighted to work in partnership with HOME and MCR Pride to help give a base for the events and also to show support for local communities over the summer.
