Planning granted for Nickel 28

Joint venture partners, Richardsons Capital LLP and Thorngrove Land & Property Limited have been granted planning permission for a speculative 261,000sq.ft. high-bay distribution warehouse on the South Normanton Industrial Estate in Derbyshire, known as “Nickel 28”.

Nickel 28 will be situated on High View Road, less than less than one mile from junction 28 of the M1. The state of the art warehouse /distribution facility will also comprise associated office accommodation, a large 50m yard, generous lorry parking facilities, 24 dock loading doors, a secure gatehouse and double stacking entrance road. South Normanton Industrial Estate is already home to a number of high profile occupiers including XPO Logistics, Alliance Healthcare, Synseal and Diversity.

Lee continues: “We are keen to start on site as early as this September and are currently going through a tender process with a number of construction companies so that we can appoint the right contractor as soon as possible.”
