Carillion-Richardson have secured planning consent for a Morrisons supermarket together with 22,500 sq.ft. (2,090 sq.m) retail space and 230 residential units. In addition, 28 'sheltered' apartments are proposed with planning submitted for 8,000 sq.ft. (743 sq.m) 'roadside' use. Site reclamation and infrastructure works are well underway.
